In its golden jubilee year in 2002, the Sabha

from 13 beds to 45 beds. 45-bedded dialysis
centre set up at new location in the Bharatiya
Premises is the largest dialysis facility in
Western India where almost all the patients are
treated at nominal fee or free.
The newly setup dialysis centre includes two
spacious dedicated centrally air-conditioned
floors. The centre is equipped with new
dialysis machines and all necessary critical care
equipments. Online RO plant and automatic
dialyzer washing facility helps significantly
reduce patient infections. UPS backup to the
entire facility ensures uninterrupted patient

pm. The centre is managed by qualified staff
including 3 fulltime medical doctors present
during operational hours of the centre to
monitor patient treatment and manage
emergency situations. Four nephrologists are
on panel for consultation, registration and
treatment of patients. Two nephrologists visit
the centre on daily basis to check ongoing
treatment and for patient evaluation and
modify the treatment regime based on patient
health. 21 well qualified and experienced
technicians operate the centre from morning
06.00 am to 09.00 pm on all working days
including public holidays. All patients are

a super specialty hospital in the neighbourhood
to handle any emergency situations.
During the year, the centre released an
audio-visual documentary on the dialysis
facility to reach-out to people who are beyond
our reach. The response to the documentary
is encouraging and many patients and
organisations are approaching us either for
treatment or to give donations.
The review period was relatively a normal year post Covid pandemic. The details of our
