On the occasion of the 250th birth anniversary of Saint Thyagaraja on 14th May 2017, a life size statue in Panchalogam was declared open. It is in the front foyer of the Sabha. It weighs 700 kgs approx. The life history of the Saint is recorded in the cubicle in which the statue is placed. Every year on the Pushya Bagula Panchami day, the statue is shifted to the main stage of the auditorium and Aradhana conducted with rendering of Pancha Ratna Kritis. | |||||||||
