In the first floor foyer of the Auditorium, a photo exhibition of Dr. M. S. Subbulakshmi containing rare photos of the Mahavidushi are displayed. Her various achievements, meetings with global personalities and saints, family events have been included. Rarest on display, in a hand written note dated 25.9.1940 by Mahatma Gandhi acknowledging her efforts to mobilise funds for Kasturba Memorial fund. His affection for MS was reflected in his signing the letter in Tamil. Various CDs, albums cut by her and books on her are also on display. |
